AID-70M is designed to test the electrical strength of the insulation of HV power cables, insulating materials, as well as devices operating as part of HV electrical systems.
The test is carried out by supplying a test object with a sinusoidal high voltage of 50 Hz frequency with control of consumed current starting from a few dozens of µA. AID-70M is a mobile device and can be used as a source of high AC/DC voltage with AC output up to 50 mA and a DC up to 10 mA max. AID-70M has light and sound indicators of a residual voltage presence as well as a modern automatic residual voltage discharge feature.
The device allows you to connect the light indication of HV inclusion. The intensity of the electromagnetic field generated by the device at the operator’s workplace does not exceed an exposure limit according to SanPiN 2.2.4.1191-03 “Electromagnetic fields in production conditions”.
AID-70M meets the requirements of GOST 1516.2-97 (General Test Methods for Electrical Insulation Strength) and is listed in the State Register of Measuring Instruments in Russia and other CIS countries. The device has successfully passed the certification for compliance with GOST for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility: it has a Certificate of Conformity, a Declaration of Conformity with the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union.
Since August 3, 2009, the AID trademark has been registered in the State Register of Trademarks and Service Marks of the Russian Federation under the number 385408 (priority date of December 7, 2007) and from that moment SKB “Medrentech” Ltd. has the exclusive right to use it.
AID-70M is the most popular device on the CIS countries markets: over the past few years more than 4,900 devices have been produced, each of them has established itself as a simple and reliable equipment. AID-70M is verified by State Metrology Service of the Russian Federation.
Please note that our company is not related to the equipment of unknown origin and workmanship abbreviated as “AID-70”, with the exception of “AID-70M” and “AID-70C”.
